At the University of Bergamo, we host our state-of-the-art laboratory dedicated to new technologies, with a special focus on Motion Capture and its many applications. Working closely with students, we develop original and innovative projects. This animation technique allows us to create cutting-edge content, also accessible in augmented and virtual reality. This year, in particular, we recreated an iconic scene from a famous film in virtual reality, exploring new forms of immersive storytelling and showcasing the creative potential of our team.

In collaboration with IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, we organized a full-day workshop entirely dedicated to the world of drones. The morning focused on acquiring key theoretical knowledge, while in the afternoon we guided students through hands-on exercises using some of our own drones. The activity proved to be a comprehensive learning experience, enriched by assisted piloting sessions that allowed participants to concretely explore the potential of these aerial technologies, which are becoming increasingly central in various professional fields.

We organized, in collaboration with AdCom and Moovie, an intensive day-long workshop dedicated to the world of drones at a dynamic motocross park. After a morning focused on theoretical fundamentals, we followed riders in action on the track up close, employing all the drones at our disposal. The experience was enriched by hands-on sessions in which we guided students in learning the basics of piloting, giving them a full immersion in the potential of these versatile aerial technologies.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Scuola Mohole students for an exciting day dedicated to discovering Motion Capture. This special workshop actively involved four distinct classes: 3D Animation, Film Acting, Cinema and Video Making. Students had the unique opportunity to experience the entire animation system firsthand, trying their hand at the different stages of the process and unveiling its many creative capabilities. It was a valuable opportunity to connect theory to practice and to show concretely the potential of this fascinating technology in the audiovisual world.
